5 Stocks to Watch Like $BBBY
I apologize for the late e-mail but I was in a crisis mode due to Ryan Cohen’s dumping of his entire BBBY stake during aftermarket hours. I ended up closing my position with a loss because he betrayed us.
Anyway, that’s one of the reasons why risk management is so important. You really shouldn’t invest more than you can afford to lose. That will be the last time I make that mistake again.
There are no major earnings reports today.
5 Stocks to Watch for Friday August 19th
Bed Bath & Beyond (NASDAQ: BBBY)
AMC Theatres (NYSE: AMC)
Chargepoint (NYSE: CHPT)
Marathon Digital Holdings (NASDAQ: MARA)
Canoo (NASDAQ: GOEV)
Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY)
I’m really disappointed in how the whole BBBY situation played out. The company could have done an offering or given more clarity on the bankruptcy situation. Ryan Cohen sold us out for a $54 million profit.
It’s hard to trust anyone on Wall Street these days, which is why I sold this morning at a loss and licked my wounds. Not much more to say here. I’ll write up something longer over the weekend. I’m pretty upset at the whole ordeal.
AMC Theatres (AMC)
The APE dividend is very close to becoming a real thing. Let’s see how this affects AMC’s stock price.
Chargepoint (CHPT)
After getting wrecked by BBBY, I’m looking for more stable hypergrowth stocks. It looks like EV charging stocks are getting cheaper now.
Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA)
Again, I may pivot to MARA after suffering my BBBY losses. I don’t have much to say other than they own more BTC than any other Bitcoin miner.
Canoo (GOEV)
Canoo looks pretty cheap and it’s below the CEO’s recent insider buy.
What’s Next?
I really apologize for the shorter e-mail but I’m really upset about what happened with BBBY. I’m still shaking from Ryan Cohen’s lies and deception. He should really be investigated by the SEC. More on that later.
It’s been a long week and I really need to cool off. Hope you guys didn’t blow up your portfolio by going all-in.
